By installing or using Orchid, you agree to these terms. They're written to be readable; if anything is unclear, ask us at legal@orchidide.com.

The app

Orchid Labs ("we") grants you a non-exclusive, revocable license to use Orchid ("the app") for personal or business analysis. You may install it on as many of your machines as you like. The app itself remains our intellectual property; you may not redistribute or sell modified copies.

Your content

Anything you create with Orchid — notebooks, dashboards, queries, agent prompts — is yours. You retain full ownership. When you publish, you grant us a limited right to host and serve that content. Unpublish at any time and we'll remove it within 24 hours.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use Orchid to access data you don't have permission to access.
Use the agent to generate malware, credentials, or otherwise abusive content.
Attempt to reverse-engineer paid features without authorization.
Resell Orchid or wrap it as a third-party service.

Plans & billing

The free tier is free. Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe and may be cancelled at any time, with prorated refunds for the unused remainder of the current billing period. Bring-your-own-key model usage is billed by the model provider directly; we don't mark up token costs.

Liability

Orchid is provided "as is." We work hard to make it reliable, but we're not liable for data loss, missed queries, or business impact from bugs. Back up your data; review agent proposals before approving them.

Termination

You may stop using Orchid at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms. Either party may terminate with 30 days' notice for any reason.

Changes

If we change these terms materially, we'll email you and post the change here at least 30 days before it takes effect.
